Fly Ted.com?

tootaloosa.comSorry Ted Turner but Ted is dead, there’s a new Ted in town. And this Ted is out and about, exchanging ideas, cooperation, collaboration and creation. It’s Ted.com and I love their tag line, “Ideas Worth Spreading.” Here’s their story about John Wooden, the famous UCLA basketball coach is the subject of a video interview, in which he talks about his views on working with people, coaching, teaching and learning in, “Coaching for people, not points.”

I occasionally, let to mind wander back to the “old-school”  thinking of businesses, coprporations and the overuse of sport related metaphors and it tires me but this one was worth watching. It’s getting harder and less frequent but occasionally a thread connects me to the old-school ideas and thinking and sometimes they are worth listening too. Fly free from the past and do business your way.
